The Slow Corps

 

The Slow Corps are a Portland, OR-based band dedicated to the deconstruction and reimagining of familiar songs from the past 50 years. Slow and ethereal, minimal and dramatic, they bring years of indie rock experience to their transformations. Inspiration provided by slowcore heroes such as Low, Mazzy Star, and Spain. The members are Pete Ficht (Wild Bells, King Black Acid), Stan Hall (Harmony Motel, The Zags), Mick Henri (Fruited Planes, Jackie-O Motherfucker), and Ellen Osborn (Pendejo, Rocketship).
