The Painted Roses + Nicholas James & The Giant Peach + Mars FM

Formed in Logan, Utah, in early 2018, The Painted Roses began as an outlet for songwriter Cole Stocker (guitar/vocals) to share folk-centric songs written during his time at Utah State University. The band’s core membership centers around guitarists Alex Schneider, who joined in late 2019, and Allie Harris (guitar/vocals), who joined in 2020, as well as Ari Calles (drums), Lucas Nivison (bass), and Abby Lee (keys/vocals.) The Painted Roses released their debut album, “Stone Cold Killer,” in 2021—labeled “the epitome of a musical masterpiece” by Salt Lake Underground Magazine (SLUG)—followed by “Two Lines” in 2024. The group has toured the western US with appearances at the Red Ants Pants Music Festival, Utah Arts Festival, and Treefort Music Fest. The band features strong collaboration between its songwriters, three and four-part harmonies, and emotional guitar work. They are currently in the studio working on a new record for release in 2026.
