As half of the folk duo Companion, she honed her craft alongside her twin sister, weaving intricate harmonies and soulful narratives rooted in her Oklahoma upbringing.
After years of national touring with her folk heroes, including Andrew Bird, Buck Meek of Big Thief, Tori Amos, Blind Pilot and Samantha Crain, Bird continues to evolve, turning every show into something that feels more like a living conversation than just a performance.
Lilly Miller’s candid, cathartic songs pull you in and reward your attention. Raised in Iowa, she began performing when she moved to Seattle, Washington in 2022. Miller’s debut record, ‘After, now’ (2025) expands her acoustic sound with sonically explorative textures and lush soundscapes. Her forthcoming record, ‘Did Something in Me Break’ (2026), a split with Damien Jurado, features many of her previously recorded songs re-imagined in a warm, live setting.
