Paraffin Dove:
Paraffin Dove is a quartet featuring Jerry Burke-Perez (bass, vocals), Max Cristian (guitar, vocals), Conrad Garrison (drums), and Isaac Hart (saxophone, aux). Formed in Portland, Oregon, the group aims to combine their influences of folk, jazz, avant-garde, and rock to create a listening and live experience with the continuity and development comparable to a film score.
Grob Gob Glob Grod:
Grob Gob Glob Grod is in reference to a four-headed entity from the cartoon “Adventure Time.” This show has gotten Pablo Murillo-Edwards (writer of the songs and guitar / vox) through many a hardship and sleepless night ; which he doesn’t think his music will be able to do exactly, but it could hopefully brush up against a similar feeling. The band also has Hannah Morton on the bass and Steven Douglas on the drums. Pablo aspires for the music to be challenging and fun as the hands of time go click click click until the sun explodes or something of that ilk.
Sanity Please:
Sanity Please is a self-described “bedroom punk” band hailing from Portland, OR. Their hard-hitting songs channel the ferocious energy of punk, the adventurous songwriting of progressive rock, and the melodic finesse of indie rock. Marrying the blistering feedback of Sonic Youth with the muscular guitar heroics of Dinosaur Jr., Sanity Please takes slacker rock to bold and exciting new heights.
