Kevin Watson is an Oregon singer-songwriter whose work blends the rugged Americana spirit of the Pacific Northwest with the timeless story telling of classic folk. Drawing inspiration from artists like Sturgill Simpson, Townes Van Zant, and Gillian Welch, Watson is also heavily influenced by late ‘60s and early 70’s rock. His songwriting hints at the people and places that shaped him along his unique journey – from professional athlete to independent recording artist, and everything in between. Along the way he developed a style that stretches from bluesy/country rock to folky fingerpicking. Whether backed by his full band or performing solo, Watson’s music delivers a sound that feels raw, weathered, and unshakably honest. His 2025 debut album ‘troubadour’ along with his most recent follow up singles ‘Ain’t Got Time’, released June 12th, and ‘Gone Again’, released September 4th, 2026, continue to showcase an artist committed to honest songwriting, memorable melodies, and music built to endure.
