Isaac Briare + Minntah Haefker

Isaac Briare is a pianist from Portland, Oregon. Currently studying and performing in New Orleans, the “birthplace of jazz,” he draws inspiration from the city’s rich musical traditions and culture. His playing incorporates influences from jazz, soul, funk, gospel, R&B, and neo-soul, blending these styles into a sound that is deeply rooted in tradition while maintaining a modern voice. 

Joining him and his trio is the talented Minntah Haefker, one of Portland’s finest vocalists. Briare and Haefker have shared the bandstand countless times, developing a musical chemistry that creates engaging and memorable performances. Together, they bring fresh interpretations of jazz and pop standards while also performing original compositions by Briare.
