Whiskey Puppy, Portland’s beloved boot-stomping, mule-shoving bluegrass trio, has been making messes on the floor of local bars for over 20 years. We are: Justin Auld (Redwood Highway, OR-7, Jam Busters); Rachel Gold (Flat Mountain Girls); and Travis “Tater” Harrison (Cocks in the Henhouse, Podunk, Maremoto, and pretty much every band with live chicken props).” Grateful Puppy, the duo version with just Rachel and Justin, goes deeper into the folk-rock-Deadish zone.
