Colleen Johnson is a queer singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Portland, Oregon. With influences spanning classical, jazz, and folk/americana music, she writes songs that capture complex emotions and sapphic yearning. She is also keyboardist and backing vocalist for PDX art rock band Baby Grendel.

Valdoria’s molten-river voice has a way of carving landscapes. The volcanic force of her belting range and a seismic sense of rhythm create perfect terrain for the songwriter’s unique lyrical universe: unabashedly simmering, pushing at edges, forging something new. Her music draws from the ephemera of the everyday and elevates it, soulfully blending together 60s folk-rock lyricism with 90s alt-rock musicality.
