Every true traveler is always in search of the best kept secret. Folk trio Flyover States has it tucked in the three-part rise and fall of their atmospheric harmony, their hindsight wisdom lyrics, and the dynamic pulse of tradition alive in their melodies. With tonal precision and undeniable warmth, their songs might summon the welcome glow of a cozy pub tucked away off a cobblestone road or inspire a gentle soundtrack for a long walk in the woods. Wherever you wander, Flyover States will most certainly be a soft place you’ll never be sorry to land.
The Portland based trio has released 3 albums during their time together. The most recent, True North, was released last year and won Best Americana or Folk Album at the 2025 PNW Music Awards.
Wild Blue Morning Bio:
Wild Blue Morning is a whole weather system of melody and emotion. Frontman Colin Andrews sings like heart on fire, full of longing, grief and faith in the beauty of life. The songs are dynamic and poetic, ranging from gentle western ballads of loss and tragedy to heavier folk rock anthems about our war torn world and the endurance of the human spirit. WBM released their debut solo album January 1st, and will release a sophomore full-band album later this year.
