Brigitta Teuscher is a Portland-based vocalist known for her rich contralto tone, dynamic range, and captivating live presence. Blending jazz, soul, and pop influences, she brings both intimacy and power to the stage, moving seamlessly from stripped-down ballads to high-energy, belt-driven performances.
Deeply influenced by artists such as Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday, her voice has been recognized for its rare combination of warmth and strength. She celebrates the evolution of jazz while incorporating contemporary elements, allowing her to connect with a wide range of audiences.
Brigitta has performed internationally as a featured and touring vocalist, with appearances across Europe, the Caribbean, and the United States, including Sweden, England, Cuba, and Puerto Rico. Highlights include performing at the National Theatre of Cuba, FestiNord’s 50th Anniversary in Stockholm, and receiving the Best Vocalist award at the Teagarden Jazz Festival. She has also opened for Alfie Boe and earned notable audience acclaim, including a rare triple encore at the Saukraasti Jazz Festival.
Where the raw emotional expression of rock meets the depth and nuance of classical and jazz —this is the place where Damen Easton feels most at home. He fronted his first rock band at 16 years old. Later he pursued classical music education, earning a masters degree in music composition from the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA.
With this foundation, Damen Easton works as a singer, composer, arranger, voice teacher, and professor of music theory at Portland State University. As a composer and arranger, he’s had the pleasure of collaborating with the phenomenal Jimmie Herrod (made famous by America’s Got Talent and Pink Martini).
As a singer, Damen is sought after for his powerful high tenor vocals, specializing in classic rock tributes. Since 2024, he has composed and provided lead vocals for his art-rock band, Limit State, which is based in LA.
