Amanda Ruth Clemons has been writing songs in secret for a long time. What began as a quiet attempt at processing some of life’s hardest moments has evolved into the release of a debut record. Anna Diem is a queer, Portland OR based, self-produced alt-folk artist known for her honesty and vulnerability. Her lyrics wrap you up in a story and her calming and emotive delivery pulls you in even closer. Heavily influenced by singer-songwriters of the 60’s, Diem’s songs bring to mind artists like Neil Young, Paul Simon and James Taylor.
